Overview
The "Quotes in Draft" XBert identifies quotes from the past 12 completed months that remain in a Draft status. These unfinalized quotes can impact sales forecasting and may indicate delays in the sales process.
What it does
This XBert:
Scans quotes from the previous 12 completed months.
Identifies quotes with a status of Draft.
Groups these quotes by month.
Triggers an alert for months where such quotes exist.
The alert provides a count and total value of these draft quotes, aiding in reviewing pending sales opportunities.
How it works
XBert evaluates quotes based on their status:
Draft: The quote is being created and has not been sent to the customer.
If any quotes remain in this status for a given month, XBert generates an alert detailing the number and total value of such quotes.
The alert is automatically resolved when all identified quotes are either:
Sent to the customer.
Deleted from the system.
Example/Use Case
Bill from ACME Bikes has negotiated a large sale of parts to a cycling group who host regular repair workshops. He’s prepared a quote with preferential pricing but it remains in Draft, awaiting management approval. The delay means the customer might go elsewhere, risking both the current sale and future business.
