If you are already connected to a different payroll but want to use Employment Hero instead, you can disconnect your current payroll from the Client Connections page.
Click on the three dots icon under the Links column and select Disconnect payroll.
Click on the Setting menu (gear icon) in the lower left of your CONNECT Portal.
Select Integrations.
Under XPM, you'll see Employment Hero (formerly KeyPay). Click on Connect.
Once you've clicked on Connect, it will ask for your API Key.
Click on "Where do I find my key?" If you don't have your API Key or click here to learn more.
Enter your API Key and click on Check.
Once it's done checking your API Key, it will show you the name of the client along with the ABN. Click on Update to finish integrating with Employment Hero.
In the event your client files do not show up, the usual reasons are:Already has payroll
The client is not a connected accounting client (i.e. an "other" client)
There are two or more Employment Hero files with the same ABN. Any files that share an ABN will not appear. If this is the case, simply change the ABN on one of these businesses.
The ABN on the client file does not match the ABN of the Employment Hero file.

Click on Connect under the Payroll column for a client you'd like to integrate with Employment Hero and follow the steps above.
