The Client Intelligence slide-out now has a new look, and with that comes some new features. You can now find the CI icon on the right-hand side of a task below the Status button.

Icon Variations

The Icon itself is an indication of the health of the specific client associated with the task you have selected.

Green is healthy.

Red is unhealthy.

Orange warning symbol is for workflow-only clients.

Usability Features

Inside the client health slide-out, you are met with an array of features to help you keep track of your data health for the selected client. If you have any items due within a month's time you will be notified via a red pop-up at the top of the panel. For visual accessibility, you can open a full-screen view containing all the same elements that the panel harbours.

You can also switch between the work board and the work list whilst keeping your same panels on the right-hand side open.

There is also a data health quality score bar to indicate visually your level of data health for the selected client.

Data Charts

There are 6 data charts on the CI slide-out.

  • Task Summary: Provides an overview of the amounts of Overdue Tasks, Template Tasks and Quick Tasks for a client and allows you to click through to access them.

XBerts By Risk Level

The chart shows vertical bars organised by risk level - from Low to Critical. Each risk level has two bars side by side:

  1. Red Bar (Outstanding) - XBerts that are still waiting to be reviewed or completed

  2. Purple (Completed) - XBerts that have already been dealt with

At the top of each bar, you'll see a number showing exactly how many XBerts fall into that category.

What the Risk Levels Mean

The chart is organized from left to right by severity:

  • Low Risk - Minor issues that should be addressed but aren't urgent

  • Medium Risk - Issues that need attention soon

  • High Risk - Serious issues that need prompt action

How to Use It

1. Quick Status Check At a glance, you can see if this client has any urgent compliance issues - just look for tall pink bars in the "High" or "Critical" columns.

2. Click to Dig Deeper You can click on any bar in the chart, and it will automatically filter your work list to show only those specific XBerts. For example:

  • Click the pink "Critical" bar β†’ See all outstanding critical XBerts for this client

  • Click the purple "Medium" bar β†’ See all completed medium-risk XBerts

Last Two Months Activity

This chart gives you a month-by-month visual snapshot of how much work activity has been generated for this specific client over the past two months.

Understanding the Chart

The chart displays vertical bars for each month, showing the volume of activity (like XBerts created or tasks generated) during that time period.

Each bar shows:

  • The month name at the bottom (e.g., "Jan 2024", "Feb 2024")

  • A number at the top of the bar showing the exact count of activities

The bars are colored in a soft purple/blue shade for easy viewing, and the height of each bar represents the activity level - taller bars mean more work was generated that month.

Task Time Submissions

This chart displays a visual breakdown of who on your team has been working on this client and how much time they've logged.

Understanding the Display

This section shows:

1. A List of Team Members

  • Each person who has submitted time for this client appears as a separate row

  • You'll see their profile picture, name, and total hours worked

  • The list is automatically sorted with the person who logged the most time at the top

2. Two Horizontal Bars Per Person

  • Red Bar (Billable) - Time that can be charged to the client

  • Purple (Non-Billable) - Time spent on this client that isn't charged (like internal admin, training, or pro-bono work)

3. Time Labels

  • Total time appears next to each person's name (e.g., "15h 30m")

  • Individual time labels appear at the end of each bar, showing the breakdown

    • Top bar shows billable hours (e.g., "12h 15m")

    • Bottom bar shows non-billable hours (e.g., "3h 15m")

XBerts By Process

This chart organises your automated compliance checks (XBerts) by the different business processes they're associated with, giving you a workflow-focused view of your compliance workload.

Understanding the Chart

The chart displays horizontal bars (running left to right) for each business process. Each process has two bars stacked side-by-side:

  1. Red Bar (Outstanding) - XBerts that still need attention

  2. Purple Bar (Completed) - XBerts that have been dealt with

The process names appear on the left side (like "BAS Preparation", "Payroll Processing", "Month End", "Year End", etc.), and the bars extend to the right showing the volume.

What the Processes Represent

Business Processes are your firm's standardised workflows - the repeatable tasks you perform for clients:

  • BAS Preparation - Quarterly business activity statements

  • Payroll Processing - Weekly/monthly payroll runs

  • Month End - Monthly reconciliations and reports

  • Year-End - Annual financial statements and tax returns

  • Bookkeeping - Regular transaction coding and reconciliation

  • No Process - XBerts that haven't been tagged to a specific process yet

Billable Ratio

This chart gives you an instant visual snapshot of how profitable this client is by showing the split between billable and non-billable time.

Important: This chart only appears for administrators who have the actual time tracking feature enabled in their practice.

Understanding the Chart

The dobut chart is divided into two segments:

  1. Red Segment (Billable) - Time that can be invoiced to the client

  2. Purple Segment (Non-Billable) - Time spent on the client that can't be charged

In the centre of the donut, you'll see a large percentage number (e.g., "73%") - this is your billable percentage for this client, making it easy to see profitability at a glance.

Below the chart, you'll see a legend that breaks down the exact percentages:

  • Billable (73%)

  • Non-Billable (27%)

Downloadable Reports

You will notice that a few of the charts have an icon to the right of them. Clicking this will lead you to a downloadable data summary in relation to the specific data chart you have clicked on. The charts that have this feature include:

  • Data Health Quality Score

  • XBerts By Risk Level

  • Last Two Months Activity

  • XBerts By Process

  • Billable Ratio
