If you need to track billable hours per client for a specific weekly period, our platform provides comprehensive tools that allow you to do so.

This functionality is beneficial for keeping tabs on work productivity and assessing the profitability of various projects.

If you're using XPM, our platform allows you to sync your data into your practice for streamlined management. This article will walk you through the process.

  1. From the Work board, click on the "Actual Time" tab.

  2. Use the Date Range Selector across the top of your Actual Time page to select the specific period you want to track.

  3. Below the date range selector, you'll see a list of all the actual time recorded by your team members.

    Each row shows (in order):

    • the date the task was done

    • the time recorded

    • which client the task was for

    • whether the task is billable

    • if the task was pushed to XPM

    • the XPM Job ID

    • who the task was created by

    • what date the task was created on

    • the type of task (Task or XBert)

    • the name of the task/XBert

    • comment on time committed

A total summary of all the combined information is detailed across the bottom and highlighted in grey.

  4. Use the Client Column to view the billable hours for every project and task of a specific client.

Clicking on the name of a client or process filters the tasks to the selected client or process only.

A total summary of all the combined information is detailed across the bottom and highlighted in grey.

  5. You can export this to Excel using the Actions button in the top right corner above the Work list.
