About: User Permissions - what will my team see?

For permissions and restrictions available within XBert.

You can easily invite your Team Members into XBert and collaborate.

Users can be administrator or non-administrator users.

Product Area

CONNECT or USERS Settings

Processes (add, edit and remove)

Automation Tab

Clients (add, edit or delete)

Add, edit or delete time entries by other users

Admin

Non-Admin

❌ - can only access their user settings

They can also either have full or restricted access.

Access and Restrictions - Invited Team Members will have the following access and visibility.

  1. MYOB Clients, All invited users will have access to MYOB Clients, there are no permissions or restrictions.

  2. QuickBooks Clients, All invited users will have access to QuickBooks Clients, there are no permissions or restrictions.

  3. Xero Clients,

    • You can set users to have Restricted Access which matches their permissions in Xero. They can see all Xero client names, but they cannot access Tasks or XBerts for clients they don't have access to in Xero.

      • Users with restricted access to Xero won't have restricted access to MYOB and QuickBooks Clients.

    • You can give Unrestricted Access to view all Xero Clients, XBerts and Tasks

Administrators see all financial snapshots and charts and can view and edit User permissions and Business Settings such as updating payment details.


💡NOTE: If you're looking to invite in your client contacts this must be done via their client consoles.
