In this support article, we will guide you through the process of mapping your XBert user account to your Xero Practice Manager (XPM) account. By linking these accounts, you can streamline your workflow and access critical client information across both platforms. The XBert system will attempt to auto-detect the correct users based on their email addresses. Successfully mapped user accounts will display a green XPM logo on the user list screen.

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Log in to your XBert account.

  2. Click on the settings menu icon lower left corner of the dashboard.

  3. In the 'Settings' menu, click on the 'Integration' tab. If you have not already connected your XBert account to Xero Practice Manager, follow the provided instructions to establish the connection.

  4. Once connected, navigate to the 'User Mapping' section within the 'Xero Practice Manager Integration' tab.

  5. The system will display a list of all XBert users, along with an XPM if connected. The system will attempt to automatically map users based on matching email addresses between XBert and XPM accounts.

  6. Review the suggested mapping and confirm if the system has mapped the correct users. If any user mapping is incorrect or missing, click on the edit button next to the respective user, and select the appropriate XPM user account.

  7. After verifying and adjusting the user mapping as needed, click on the 'Save User Mapping' button at the bottom of the 'User Mapping' section. This will finalize the mapping process.

  8. To confirm that the user accounts have been successfully mapped, navigate to the 'User List' screen. You will see a green XPM logo next to each user who has been correctly mapped to a Xero Practice Manager account.

Tip: You may also access the mappings by using the Connect Users under the settings.

Conclusion:

By following the steps in this support article, you can efficiently map your XBert user account to a Xero Practice Manager account, ensuring seamless data synchronization and an improved user experience. With this integration, you can efficiently manage your clients' information and workflows across both platforms, simplifying your practice management processes.
