If you are looking to integrate Xero Practice Manager with your current account, you'll need to take the following steps:

Once you have completed these steps, your Xero Practice Manager integration should be successfully enabled.

Connecting an XPM Account

Integrations can be used to connect an XPM account to your existing software. To do this, follow the steps below.

  1. In your CONNECT Portal, click on the Settings menu (gear icon) on the lower left corner.

  2. Click on Integrations.

  3. Log into your XPM account if you have not logged in.

  4. On the Integrations page, select which account you'd like to connect from XPM.

  5. Save your changes once you've selected the account you'd like to connect.
After saving, the account should be connected.

  6. Once you have connected your account, XBert will process the information. This could take a couple of minutes.
Once processed, we will map the clients based on their names and the existing users in both systems.

  7. You can complete the rest of the setup using the Configuration.

When you click on 'Link Clients', you'll be redirected to the Client Connections page.

Under the XPM column, click on the - icon to select an XPM client for a file or the tick icon to change the XPM client that the file is linked to.

Automatic Mapping

With this turned on, your XBert tasks will now be automatically linked to their corresponding XPM Job Tasks, eliminating the need for manual mapping. This seamless integration ensures that any updates or changes in one platform are automatically reflected in the other, providing you with a unified view of your tasks and progress.

To start benefiting from this automatic linking feature, please ensure that your XBert and XPM accounts are correctly connected and that correct mapping is accurately set up.

When looking at a task, you can see the mapping in the XPM link information.

TIP: If you do not see the XPM Link on the Timer view, the task's process has not been configured and mapped to - Excluded from XPM. Once you correctly set up the mapping, the selection will appear.

Automatic Pushing

With this turned on, your XBert time will be automatically added to XPM without a user needing to press the "Push to XPM" option.

This option can also push any missing time due to incorrect settings configuration for time that has been entered.

Control the type of time to be pushed.

You can also choose if you only want certain time entries to be pushed into XPM using the "Which Actual Times" selection under XPM Configurations.

Tip: If you can't see the timer control, please ensure you turn on the Actual Time feature in the Features area.
