You can set up an Alert Type or frequency for your Custom XBerts. Doing this will help you understand when they appear on your work board.

When creating a new Custom XBert, you'll see Alert Type under Advanced in XBert Configuration.

You'll see two main options, Data and Task.

  1. Data means - it will run each day during normal sync cycles.

  2. Under Task, there are multiple options.

It's important to note that - all XBerts are created to avoid Weekends.

If the alert type is set to Task, you cannot enable auto-complete.

  • Daily - Creates an XBert for today's date plus 4 additional XBerts avoiding weekends. This option always creates the 4 XBerts in advance.

  • Weekly - Creates an XBert for the Monday of the current week, plus 3 additional weeks of XBerts are created on subsequent Mondays.

  • Fortnightly - Creates an XBert for the Monday of the current week.

Otherwise, it creates an XBert for the next week. We also create 2 additional fortnights, always on Mondays.

  • Monthly - Creates an XBert on the first day of the current month + the first day of the next month. It always creates an additional 1 additional XBert in advance.

  • Quarterly - Dates are set on the current year's January 01, April 01, July 01, and October 01.

It analyses the current date to determine the current Quarter and creates 4 quarters. Upon moving into the next quarter, another XBert will be created for the consecutive next quarter. That means there will always be 3 XBerts for 3 quarters created in advance.

  • Yearly - Creates an XBert on the first day of the next year.

Note - Once you've set up the Alert Type on a Custom XBert, it can't be changed.
