Workflow AI (Nano) is XBert's plan for clients you do not connect an accounting ledger for.
Nano sits under Workflow AI, which is the level of XBert that works on your practice rather than on a client's financial data. A client on Nano gets XBert's AI helping your team run the work for that client, without any accounting software being connected.
What a Workflow AI client includes
On top of everything in the Manual option - the client record, tasks, deadlines, capacity, process workflows, and the work views - Workflow AI adds:
Workflow automation. XBert moves work through your firm's workflows, creating tasks, notes and schedules on request.
Practice agents. Firm-level AI agents covering team capacity and upcoming deadlines. They work on your practice, not on ledger data.
XBert Intelligence chat. A conversational AI assistant in the app that answers questions and takes actions across your practice workflow.
Access from other AI tools via an MCP, so you can reach your practice and client workflow data from the AI assistant your firm already uses.

What Workflow AI does not include
Anything that reads a client's accounting ledger. That means no exception detection, no data-quality checks on live transactions, no compliance agents, no review automation and no Custom XBerts for that client.
Those all belong to Financial AI, and they need a connected ledger to work at all.
This is not a restriction applied to Workflow AI clients - there is simply no financial data for XBert to read.
How Workflow AI is priced
Workflow AI has one plan: Nano. It is a flat price per client per month, with no activity limit. It is available monthly or annually.
This is different from Financial AI plans, which are sized by activity volume, so a busier client costs more. A Nano client has no activity band.
Pricing per region
Region | Cost per Client, per Month |
Australia + New Zealand | AUD $4.89 |
United Kingdom | GBP ÂŁ3.00 |
South Africa | ZAR R 44.00 |
United States | USD $4.89 |
Workflow AI and ledgers
A Workflow AI client has no ledger connected. The two move together automatically, in both directions:
Connect a ledger on a Workflow AI (Nano) client and it moves up to a Financial AI plan.
XBerts (risk alerts) data-quality checks, compliance agents, review automation and Custom XBerts for that client switches on, with nothing to re-set up.

Disconnect the ledger from a Financial AI client and it moves down to Workflow AI (Nano).
The client record, tasks, deadlines, capacity, workflows and time tracking all stay exactly as they are.
What stops is anything that reads the ledger: XBerts (risk alerts), data-quality checks, compliance agents, review automation and Custom XBerts for that client.
