Documenting your working hours allows for compensation for hours worked and measuring the amount of time spent on a task. Actual Time records can also assist with documenting your productivity.

NOTE: When activating the Actual Time feature in Settings under the Features tab, there are configurations as well.

You can choose how you want to make your Actual Time entries, you can choose between Actual Time with Hours and Minutes or Actual Time with Start and End Time.

From the Work board

  1. Click on the Estimated Time bar or the - (dash icon) on tasks without an estimated time in a task summary.

  2. The task Details Tile on the right-hand side of your screen will open up on the Actual Time screen.

Use the Hours and Minutes to log your Actual Time on a task.
You can also leave a comment in the text box.

After this, click Commit and your actual time will be committed to the task.

From the top of your CONNECT Portal

  1. There's a Clock icon on the top right of the CONNECT Portal.

  2. From here, you can either start a new timer or commit time.

You can also change the date you want to commit time for by clicking on the calendar icon or the date across the top if you forgot to commit actual time beforehand.

  3. Clicking on the icon of a Clock with the + inside will start a timer. Make sure you pause the timer, then click the pencil icon (edit).

From here, you can select a Task or XBert to commit the actual time. You can also select the date and also leave a note for your committed time.

Then, click on Commit once you're done.
Click on Update if you're just making changes and not finished yet.

Your actual time will be committed to the task you select.

*Time that is not committed will be considered Draft Time*

  4. If you click the icon of the Circle with the + inside, you can commit time to a task immediately.

This allows you to add the actual time committed, select the Task or XBert, leave a note as well and label the actual time as billable or non-billable. Click Commit once you're done and your time will be committed to the task or XBert you select.
