How To: Rename a Workflow-only Client

Want to keep your workflow organized and accurate? Renaming your workflow-only clients is a quick and simple way to stay on top of things.

  1. To begin, navigate to the 'Clients' page in XBert. This is where all your client files are listed. ​

  2. Next, head to the 'Client Connections' tab. This is where you can manage each client's connections and settings.

  3. Find the client you want to rename and click on the three-dot icon under the 'Links' section.

  4. From the drop-down menu, select 'Rename Client.

  5. Once you’ve entered the new name, click 'Save.' Your changes will be applied immediately.


💡 NOTE: If the client is a connected client, you can change their name on their accounting software, and it will automatically update in XBert within 24 hours.
