The default timezone on your connect portal is the timezone you use on your device. This means that different location users will have different default time zones on their XBert accounts.
Different timezones' impact
Dealing with timezones can be confusing, especially when juggling tasks and schedules across users with different timezones.
A rare observation of how timezones are displayed in XBert -
Any user behind your timezone will see a full-day difference, even if they're only an hour or two behind.
E.g. You set a task Start Date for Jan 02, 2024, at 12:00 MN, and you're in UTC+11. Another user in a UTC+10 timezone, will see that same Start Date as Jan 01, 2024, at 11:00 PM.
Set the same timezone for all users
To avoid confusion about due dates or schedules, you can update the connect portal settings to match the main timezone you want to follow.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to do this -
1. From your CONNECT Portal, go to the Settings menu (gear icon) on the lower left corner. Click on CONNECT.
2. Under CONNECT Settings, toggle the ON button beside 'Set all users to use the Connect Portal Timezone' -
3. To ensure changes are reflected across all users, ask them to re-log in to XBert.
