Tired of setting up different schedules? Cloning a schedule allows you to create a duplicate of an existing schedule without setting it up from scratch.

This can be particularly helpful if you need the same schedule to run at different times or for various clients.

IMPORTANT: Once you copy a schedule, it will use the Next Reporting Period Start Date of the original schedule and not the start date.

💡 TIP: If you have multiple schedules, you can sort your Schedule list by clicking on the Status, Name, Recurs, Due Date, Attachments, Assigned, and Clients header columns.

To clone or copy a schedule

  1. Go to the Automation Board & select the template.

  2. Click on the Calendar icon on the top left. This will open the Schedules page of the Template.

  3. Find and select the schedule you wish to duplicate from the list.

  4. Click on the pencil icon or the schedule title to open the schedule details.

  5. Click the Copy Schedule Icon in the upper right corner. It will be the first option.

  6. You will receive a confirmation message asking you if you want to copy the schedule, click Yes.

  7. You will get a message letting you know the schedule is copied, click Open Copy.

  8. Rename and Save the cloned schedule.

    • The new schedule will be titled “Copy of [Original Schedule Name]”

    • Ensure you rename the schedule to avoid confusion

    • Edit the details like assigned role, start date, frequency, due date, etc., like a new schedule, you can edit all the sections to suit your needs.

  9. Tick the box beside Activate schedule immediately to turn ON the cloned template. Then, click Save before leaving the page.

  10. The cloned schedule will now appear in your schedule list and can be modified or activated as necessary.
