The Weekly Calendar Board gives you a clear, dynamic view of your work for the week ahead.

This view helps you visualise what needs to be done and when, making it easier to plan workloads across your team. You can quickly identify busy days, spot gaps for new tasks, and ensure priorities stay balanced throughout the week.

Navigation

You can scroll from left to right to view the days. This board displays all your work items in a simple weekly layout that starts with today’s date, helping you plan and manage tasks day by day.

As each new day begins, the view automatically adjusts — so you’re always seeing the most relevant and up-to-date schedule.

Date Range, Filters, and Settings

This work board uses the date range: Start Date > Dynamic > Up to 1 Month, similar to the work list. But compared to the Time Flow Board, you can access the date range selector here and add previous and future weeks.

You will also have a Process, Client, and Assigned dropdown to easily filter the board. Similar to the work list, the quick filters are also available (My Items, View XBerts/Tasks only, etc).

Here are the settings you can change on this board:

  1. Add prev week - add the previous week

  2. Add next week - add the next week

  3. Weekends - toggle to view, hide, or show only weekend days with tasks

Sorting options are also available on this board. More on sorting here.

Dragging & Dropping Work Items on Weekly Calendar

Just like on the Time Flow board, you can easily rearrange tasks by dragging and dropping work items between days on the Weekly Calendar.

When you move a work item, the Move Start and Due Date modal will automatically appear, giving you flexibility in how you update your work items.

Modal Options

Within this modal, you can:

  • Change the due date only, to adjust when a task is expected to be completed.

  • Change the start date only, to shift when work will begin.

  • Change both the start and due date to the same day, if the task will be handled in one go.

  • Re-assign the work item to another user if ownership needs to change.

These options allow you to fine-tune your plans without disrupting the overall flow of your team’s schedule.

When the Modal Appears

The modal is triggered when you move a work item:

  • From a previous date to a future date (postponing the task)

  • From a future date to a previous date (bringing the task forward)

⚠️ Note: You can’t move tasks into or from non-date columns, except for those without due dates. This keeps your schedule accurate and ensures date-based tracking stays consistent across your workspace.

Tip: Use the Weekly Calendar to maintain a realistic, day-to-day overview of your tasks and your team’s capacity. It’s a simple yet powerful way to stay organised and proactive.
