The Time Flow Board is an entirely new way to visualise, plan, and manage your work. It’s designed to bring together your tasks, due periods, and daily capacity in one simple, dynamic view — giving you a complete picture of your workload at a glance.

Navigation

You can scroll from left to right to view all the columns, but by default, this view includes four key columns:

  • Completed (auto-hidden)

  • Not Started

  • Overdue

  • In Progress

This setup gives you an immediate sense of what’s on your plate, what’s behind schedule, and what’s actively being worked on.

You can easily understand how your day or week is shaping up, making it simpler to prioritise tasks, balance responsibilities, and maintain steady progress.

Date Range, Filters, and Settings

This work board uses the date range: Start Date > Dynamic > Up to 1 Month, similar to the work list. You cannot access the date range selector on this board, but you can add future weeks if need be.

You will also have a Process, Client, and Assigned dropdown to easily filter the board. Similar to the work list, the quick filters are also available (My Items, View XBerts/Tasks only, etc).

Here are the settings you can change on this board:

  1. Add next week - add the next week

  2. Weekends - toggle to view, hide, or show only weekend days with tasks

  3. Include Overdue in Capacity

Sorting options are also available on this board. More on sorting here.

Drill into Capacity

When Capacity is turned on, Time Flow becomes even more powerful. You’ll see your team’s daily capacity values right within the view, allowing you to assess individual and team workloads in real time.

This helps you identify potential bottlenecks early, plan work more effectively, and ensure everyone is working at a sustainable pace.

Dragging & Dropping Work Items on Time Flow

When you drag and drop work items between columns on the Time Flow board, a Move Start and Due Date modal will appear.

Modal Options

You can choose to:

  • Change the due date only

  • Change the start date only

  • Change both start and due dates to the same day

  • Re-assign the work item to another user

When the Modal Appears

The modal is triggered when you move a work item:

  • From Not Started to a Date

  • From a previous date to a future date

  • From a future date to a previous date

⚠️ Note: You cannot move a work item from Overdue or In Progress to a Date column.
