The Due Period Board groups your work items into clear time-based categories such as Today, Tomorrow, This Week, Next Week, This Month, and Future. This allows you to quickly see upcoming deadlines and balance your workload across the days and weeks ahead.

By focusing on when work is due, you can ensure important tasks don’t slip through the cracks and that your team always knows what to tackle next.

Navigation

You can easily update a work item’s due date by dragging and dropping it into another column on the board.

This view also includes:

  • No Due Date

  • Overdue

Each column represents a specific due period, helping you visually manage timelines at a glance.

Sorting options are also available on this board. More on sorting here.

Dragging & Dropping Work Items on Due Period

When you drag and drop work items between columns on the Due Period board, the Set Due Date modal will pop up automatically.

When the Modal Appears

The modal is triggered when you move a work item:

  • From No Due Date to Tomorrow (Dynamic), This Week, Next Week, This Month, or Future

  • From Today to Tomorrow (Dynamic), This Week, Next Week, This Month, or Future

  • From Tomorrow to This Week, Next Week, This Month, or Future

This ensures that your due dates remain accurate and that any changes made visually on the board are properly reflected in the item’s details.

Tip: The Due Period view is perfect for managing deadlines and staying ahead of busy periods — especially during monthly or quarterly reporting cycles.
