Note: This article is about what your clients can see when they log in to their Client Console - it does not affect what you see in your XBert account.
What is the Client Console?
Each client has their own Client Console - a separate portal where client users (i.e. your clients, not your firm's staff) can log in to view their XBerts, Tasks, and Reports.
The settings described in this article control visibility within that client-facing portal only.
What does this setting control?
The Client User XBert/Task Visibility setting determines whether a client user can see XBerts and Tasks when they log in to their Client Console.
This setting does not affect what you or your team see in XBert.
Affected client reports
If you have the "Hide XBerts/Tasks" settings turned on for a client in their Client Console, it will hide certain reports from the clients in the Client Console.
It affects these client reports:
Data Quality
Health Check
Estimate Accuracy
How to change/view this setting
Go to Settings β Client Settings
Find the Client User XBert Visibility and Client User Task Visibility columns
Click Hide to hide XBerts and Tasks from any Client Users
Click Show to make them visible again
Note: If Hide is on, XBerts and Tasks will appear in the Client Console if they were created by a client user, or are currently assigned to a client user.
Summary: who is affected?
