XBert's groundbreaking browser extension allows you to create a task from any website on the internet.

You can also work within your Xero files and XBert at the same time to be notified of errors in real-time.

You can get the XBert extension for:

Once you install the extension, it will appear on your browser toolbar with an X (the example below uses Chrome).

You can now log in to Xero and XBert in the same browser to easily view XBerts, and manage and create tasks.

As you move around Xero and review entries such as invoices, bills, contact records, and more, XBert alerts are cross-checked, and you’ll know straight away if there's a problem with that Xero entry.

Creating tasks from any website

From any website on the internet, you can select the XBert Extension and create an XBert task. Open the extension and Select an Organisation from the dropdown list, then simply enter a Task Title, Description, Due Date and Status. You can also Assign a User, select a Process and Mark it as a Priority.

Save the Task and it will immediately appear on your XBert Work board.

From the Work board you can identify tasks made from the extension by the task logo (it appears with an X).

You can also Sort your work list by Group, which will organise your work items by task type.

Selecting an extension task from your work items behaves the same as all other tasks, it will open up a detailed view.

The Open Link button will open a new internet browser at the exact web address where the task was created.

You can then use the actions bar across the bottom to change the Process or client, Assign to a user, add a Due Date, add Comments, commit Actual Work Time or update the Status of the task.
