For managing tasks and workflow within XBert.

In addition to XBerts on your Work board, you can add your Tasks with checklists.

Tasks can be added as one-off or recurring regularly.

You can easily open each Task to the tile display to see more information and action the task.

  1. Open a Task tile by selecting the Task summary in the Work items list. This will activate the tile on the right-hand side of your screen.

  2. The tile contains information relating to this task. The top of the tile visually displays the title of the task. Including Status and Process.

  3. The T icon shows if the task is created from a Template. You can select the Template icon to be taken to the template to make edits. How to edit a template.

  4. You can start a timer on the selected task by clicking on the Clock icon. You can also use the Bin icon to delete the selected task.

  5. Assigned to the user with name and image.

  6. The Due Date

  7. The Task Summary is entered when the task is created.

  8. Subtasks entered when the task is created appear on each task as checkboxes.

  9. The i Icon shows there is more information available on the subtask. Clicking on the i will open the instructions when needed. To close the information again click the x.

  10. The Eye icon next to the Subtask will cancel out a subtask if not required.

  11. Attachments are located at the bottom of the subtasks, it will show any attachments that have been added to the template task. You can also add attachments here but they will only appear for this specific task, for this client. If you want an attachment for all tasks, you need to add it to the template.

  12. Task summary information is found at the bottom of the tile. It will show the Frequency it recurs, e.g. monthly or weekly. When the task was created and by who. XBert's automated task system will appear on tasks that come from a template with a schedule.

  13. The Action Bar is across the bottom of every Task

    1. Processes - View/Change the process the task is assigned to

    2. Assign the task to a user

    3. Due Date

    4. Comments and Activity section

    5. Time - Commit actual time for the task
