How To: Add a Note for a Client

For creating and adding specific notes for individual clients.

XBert has Templates that create ongoing recurring tasks for your Clients. When you need further information relating to a specific client, you can use Notes to add this to their Template Tasks.

Making Note Topics is a way of grouping similar Notes within the same Topic.

On the Notes page, your Topics are listed on the left-hand side, this is the main page navigation.

Note Link Tags

Link your Note to your Templates. Notes can be linked to a Template or a Subtask within a Template.

  1. Go to the Notes page and + Add Note.

  2. At the top, you must select if the Note is in...

    • Draft

      • Anyone can see a Draft note, Draft indicates it might not be finished.

    • Published

      • Lets your team know that your Note is finalised.

    • Private

      • Will be a Note that only YOU can see.

    • Public

      • A Note that all your Team Members can see.

  3. Then you must select the Client, Topic, and Note Link Tag for this Note.

  4. Fill in the Title, Contents, and add any Attachments if needed for the Note then Save.

    Your note will now be added to your template or the subtask within the template.
